Math is a major part of our summer program. The students are involved in many different math activities in the course of their math time each day. Each teacher focuses on skills and strategies from the Math In Focus curriculum that will continue the school year work into the summer.
Your child can continue to access the Math In Focus textbook and virtual manipulatives by logging into the website below with the username (first name and last name all in one word) and password (cgmcgm11) used during the school year.

Additionally, students work on increasing their fact fluency through the FASTT Math computer program daily. The children can continue using the same username and password they used during the school year.

Finally, we want to support students with the summer math packet assignment. If your child hasn’t brought his/her packet with him/her to Elementary Summer Academy, please remind him/her to bring it to school. We want to help them complete it during our program! If your child lost the packet, you can print one off from the website below. If you don’t have access to a printer, let us know, and we will print one out for your child.

If you look at the above address, you will also see a link to other math games. We would love it if all Clayton children spend some time on a regular basis this summer brushing up on their math all the way up to the first day of school in August. This will keep their brains sharp and ready for the upcoming school year.
