Ms. Amanda Stephens (the short one!) is a classroom teacher at Captain Elementary. She just completed her tenth year in the district and has taught third, fourth, and fifth grades. Although this is her third year in a leadership role for the elementary summer program, Ms. Stephens has worked as a teacher in the summer academic program for many years in Clayton.
Mr. Steve Hutson (the tall one!) is a physical education teacher at Glenridge Elementary. He just completed his ninth year in the district and this is also his third year in a leadership role for the elementary summer program. Before that, Mr. Hutson worked as a SummerQuest teacher for many a Clayton summer.
We are both happy to help students and their families with any questions or concerns. Feel free to email, call, or just grab us when you see us in the building. We are looking forward to another fabulous summer with our awesome Clayton kids!
